Ryan & Claire

Ryan and Claire, married in August 2022, have faced the heartbreak of two miscarriages after trying to conceive since March 2023. Through genetic testing, they discovered that due to a genetic carrier they have increased risk of miscarriage and genetic abnormalities. IVF with preimplantation genetic diagnosis offers them hope for a healthy pregnancy and child. Both educators, the costly procedure and are deeply grateful for the opportunity made them excellent candidates to be considered for a grant.

They are recipients of the 2024 Townes Grant.
